Yes Man

I actually really liked this movie. There were quite a few laugh-out-loud moments. My favorite moment in the whole movie was the Luis Guzman scene. Don’t want to give anything away if you haven’t seen it. So funny, though. I also really liked Rhys Darby (Murray from Flight of the Conchords). He pretty much played his Murray character, but it was perfect for the role.

Knowing

We can definitely say this movie was entertaining. There were a lot of cheesy parts, and a lot of weird parts. And in the end, I’m not real sure what the point of the whole thing was, but I was definitely intrigued throughout. Not something I’ll ever revisit, but worth a rental or a dollar theater viewing.

I saw Knowing at the dollar theater this week, and thought it was TERRIBLE! I actually looked at my friend about 3/4 of the way through and said, “I’m bored.” Nicholas Cage is a horrible actor.

Yes, Nicholas Cage is terrible. I didn’t think the movie was that bad, although when it got to the end I thought… “why did we just go through all of that?” It was interesting to try and figure out what was going on, even if in the end it was pointless.

I didn’t think Knowing was terrible. I was actually intrigued, too, until the very end, which made me say “What the HECK just happened?!” Up until that point, I thought it was pretty cool despite Cage’s inevitably stupid acting.
